Smirnoff just served America a massive glass of IDGAF on Horror Archivesthe rocks. The vodka company's icy-cold new ad campaign goes right after President Trump.
Because we've now reached a point where even liquor companies can't resist taking part in (or capitalizing on) the political resistance, Smirnoff decided to promote its America-made vodka while simultaneously trolling President Trump's ties to Russia, using his very own words against him.
SEE ALSO: James Comey speaks for all of America: 'Lordy, I hope there are tapes.'After former FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee about his interactions with the president, Trump claimed several of Comey's accusations (made under oath, by the way) were completely false.
Trump then went so far as to say he'd be 100 percent willing to share his account of what happened under oath—which is where Smirnoff saw its golden marketing opportunity.
A large advertisement seen at a train station says Smirnoff vodka is, "Made in America." The company then goes on to explain, "But we’d be happy to talk about our ties to Russia under oath."

Smirnoff was founded in 1864 by Piotr Arseneevich Smirnov, a famous Russian vodka maker in Moscow, but is now owned by Diageo, a British spirits company.
And though Trump announced on Twitter that he felt "vindicated" after Comey's testimony, the president—of all people—should know by now: A single tweet won't stop the trolling, let alone by plucky ad creatives looking to make a new dent in their market, as other companies manage to fall flat on their faces attempting to take a stand.
