In anticipation for the big event this Tuesday,erotice age the company has announced three official hashtags that will allow users to participate online.
By tweeting and searching for #ElectionDay, #ElectionNight and #Election2016, Twitter users will be able to follow along with all the election excitement and also unlock a corresponding ballot box emoji.
Promoting certain hashtags prior to important events is Twitter's effort to promote unification, while also encouraging conversation on the social platform.

Twitter rolled out similar hashtags during the 2016 presidential debates in hopes of encouraging activity among users and providing context surrounding the events.
The microblogging site also released the hashtag #iVoted in nine different languages to make Twitter users' voices heard this election. When it is dropped, it will also unleash a corresponding check mark emoji.

Oh, and in case you're still living in the "Bone Zone," the red sweater-wearing debate hero, Ken Bone announced he also has his own Twitter hashtag: #MyVote2016.

The hashtag, which appears to have been paid for by IZOD -- the brand behind Bone's iconic debate sweater -- is not one of Twitter's official election hashtags, but does unlock a tiny Ken Bone emoji.
