India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi says the vast majority of people who took part in a survey this week (via his app),cat3movie have expressed support for the government’s demonetisation move.
On Tuesday, Modi asked Indians what they thought of the invalidation of most circulated currency notes. The app quickly became a talking point among many, with him trending on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play.

More than 90 percent of respondents, according to the findings, gave the government a "4-star-rating" for its efforts to get rid of black money (unaccounted for cash). 73 percent of those people gave it a 5-star rating.
Over 93 percent people found the government’s approach to tackle corruption by invalidating Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 note as the right move, with only two percent of them giving it a "very poor" or "one-star" rating, Modi shared the findings on Wednesday.

Many people have since questioned the authenticity of the survey, with some criticizing the government for asking the wrong questions. Some found the whole survey results rigged. Randeep Surjewala, the chief spokesperson of opposition Congress party not only condemned the findings, but criticized the government in power for wasting time and not putting efforts in the well being of people.

It needs to be pointed out that the survey required users to download Narendra Modiapp on their iPhone, or an Android phone, or a Windows Phone. The vast majority of Indians don’t own a smartphone, and simply can’t share their views. They are understandably most impacted by the demonetization move.
