"I can movies with eroticismcount five parents in the last three hours who have text me and said my child just asked me 'am I going to die'?!?"
Those were the chilling words tweeted by Solange Knowles Thursday, following the fatal police shootings of two black men in the U.S. within 48 hours.

In an attached image, Knowles revealed a message she seemingly received from one of her friends. "Man I'm kinda messed up right now," it read. The sender's child was crying and said she was scared for her life, the message continued. "Who do we call if the police kill us," the child asked.
