You might not give two hoots about the impending royal nuptials,Dear Utol (2025): TBrgy. Chairman Episode 39 but here's a wedding you jolly well will care about: The Lego royal wedding.
SEE ALSO: How guests will be expected to behave at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's weddingThe folks at Legoland Windsor used 39,960 Lego bricks to build a miniature version of the royal wedding just days before the IRL event takes place.
It took 11 model makers a whopping 592 hours to build the replica of Windsor Castle, which happens to be just down the road from Legoland Windsor. The spectacle also features a teeny Ascot Landau carriage, made using 1,500 bricks. The carriage can be seen making its way down the mini Long Walk, which features two horses made from 200 bricks.
Beyond the bridal party, there's along a crowd of 500 Lego people, made from an impressive 17,000 bricks, which aim to reflect the spectators who'll be showing up on the day to watch from a distance.
The 10cm tall miniature Harry and Meghan stand in front of a replica of Windsor Castle made entirely, of course, from Legos.
Of course, it wouldn't really be a royal wedding without an array of high profile guests. The Lego wedding has tiny versions of the The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, along with mini Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Looks like Lego Prince Louis stayed at home, though.
Oh, and if you're itching to go see the Lego version of the royal wedding, it's on show at Legoland Windsor form today until November 2018.
Congrats to the Lego bride and groom!
