Harry Kunz owns Eagle's Nest Wildlife Hospital in Queensland, Australia and he's after a successor who is notmotivated by money, but isprepared to look after the two hectares of land and take care of orphaned and injured animals.

"It will be a really hard choice. There's so many good people out there that will do good things for the environment."

Kunz revealed that he's received many lucrative offers from people who are looking to profit from the site, or those hoping to get themselves free land. He's adamant that the site should remain an animal sanctuary, and promises to still be involved where he can.
"I've been doing this for 35 years now, caring for wildlife and fighting for the environment. I don't want to stop just because I'm getting old and cannot do the manual work anymore," he said.
While Kunz is spoilt for choice on the amount of genuine offers he's received, he believes not even half of them are up to the task of caring for animals.
"It is still a lot to make a choice, and it will be heartbreaking, but I want to continue to do the right thing for our environment and our wildlife," he said.
You won't need to have a tonne of experience however, just a passion for wildlife.
Kunz said he is happy to teach the right person the various skills you need. If you're up for it, contact them on their website here.
