Love Actuallyis getting a spring sequel 14 years later, eroticism gif because even in March, Christmas is all around.
The short film will reunite old cast members and catch up with their characters in 2017, just in time for Red Nose Day, the charitable event in the U.S. and U.K. that benefits children worldwide.
"I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to Love Actually," director Richard Curtis told BBC in a statement. "But I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to. Who has aged best? -- I guess that’s the big question … or is it so obviously Liam?"
Love Actuallycastmembers Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Andrew Lincoln, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rowan Atkinson are confirmed for the sequel.
"We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part -- and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later'" Curtis added. "We hope to make something that’ll be fun -- very much in the spirit of the original film and of Red Nose Day - and which we hope will help bring lots of viewers and cash to the Red Nose Day shows.”
Curtis has directed Red Nose Day revivals of his previous work, including specials for Blackadderand Mr. Bean.
The Love Actuallyshort film will air March 24 on BBC and May 25 on NBC.
