Taylor Swift announced Friday that her next album re-release will be the moody, emotional, thoughtful Red,which originally dropped in 2012.
The perfect fall album, Redincludes the singles "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "I Knew You Were Trouble," and "22," among others.
In a note posted to Twitter, Swift shared that Red (Taylor's Version)"will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red." She also noted that one song is 10 minutes long!
Given that Swift followed that statement with a scarf emoji, fans can assume she may be referring to the long-rumored 10-minute version of Redtrack "All Too Well," which features a memorable lyric about an ex-beau holding onto her old scarf: "But you keep my old scarf from that very first week / 'cause it reminds you of innocence / and it smells like me."
"All Too Well" is arguably the most popular non-single in her whole catalog. (It's this reporter's favorite song, period.)

Red (Taylor's Version) followsFearless (Taylor's Version),which dropped in April. Swift has been rerecording her masters following the originals' sale to Scooter Braun. She also released two new albums in 2020, Evermoreand the Grammy-winning Folklore.
Funnily enough, Red (Taylor's Version)is a bit of a surprise. Fans on social media had been expecting 1989 (Taylor's Version)to be the next album she would release, with #1989TaylorsVersion regularly trending on Twitter the last few weeks. Little did we know she had something else up her fabulous fall coat sleeve.
One extra intriguing note? Breaking with the original, Red (Taylor's Version), which drops Nov. 19, will have both a clean and explicit version.
Everything has changed, indeed.
