If you're superstitious about the awfulness of 2016 (see Bowie,Small Tits | Adult Movies Online Prince, Cohen and Trump), one Australian state's end-of-days weather over the weekend will only seem appropriate.
Saturday evening brought a spectacular clash of red sunset skies and spidering lightning to southeast Queensland, but also some danger: A teenager was hit by lightning and a number of homes were damaged, ABC reported.

According to Michael Knepp, forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology, the weather was nothing unusual, although the BOM did issue a dangerous storm warning Saturday.
"We had a combination of heat and humidity and an unstable atmosphere that produced the thunderstorm," he told Mashable.
"[The red light] was just the timing of the storm, around dusk, as it cleared off to the east you would have got that red sunset."
Queensland is in the midst of thunderstorm season, and Knepp said there was a chance of a repeat Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in southeast Queensland.
Best get your cameras ready and hope for better days in 2017.
