In a video featuring puffs of smoke set to "Candy Man" from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Apple unveiled the new purple color for the iPhone 12 and Phone 12 mini.

There's already a purple iPhone 11. Why Apple waited this long to bring the cute lewk to the 12 lineup is unclear. Maybe they just wanted an excuse to sell new iPhones in the middle of the year?

People who want to get their hands on the new purple iPhone can pre-order it Friday and it will be available April 30.
