Released in 2024, this new and improved pencil features an impressive list of upgrades and new features that previous models don't offer. These more advanced controls include gestures and haptics. By just rotating the pencil, you can change the brush or pen tool settings mid-drawing. The squeeze interaction is also new and allows users to change modes or activate tools simply by squeezing the pencil.

According to Apple, the Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4), iPad Pro 11-inch (M4), iPad Air 11-inch (M2 and M3), iPad Air 13-inch (M2 and M3), iPad Air 13-inch (M2), iPad Air 11-inch (M2), and iPad mini (A17 Pro).
It's compatible with the Find My locator, too. So if you misplace it, just use the app to track its location.
