Warning: Contains spoilers for Game of ThronesSeason 7.
In the world of Westeros,Sabik (2025) marriage is crucial.
People marry off their children to form alliances to other houses, people get married to produce heirs -- it's all pretty important stuff.
SEE ALSO: Bronn from 'Game of Thrones' says his postman won't talk to him after he shot Daenerys' dragonThe thing is, there haven't been a whole lot of successfulmarriages in Game of Thronesso far. Isn't it about time we got a union where the two characters actually like each other and the whole thing doesn't end in one or both parties getting horribly murdered?
Well, Reddit user ALL_STAR_87 has a theory about a possible pairing that could go against the grain...
In case you need a reminder of what Dickon looks like, he's the one with the broadest shoulders in all of the Seven Kingdoms:
Anyway, the marriage theory is a little out there, but it's not totally impossible. If Dickon gets captured by Daenerys (which is looking likely), marrying him off to an ally could be one way to bind House Tarly to the Stark (and subsequently the Targaryen) cause.
Dickon managed to survive the loot train attack, which suggests he's still got some part to play in the upcoming season. Isn't it possible he could help cement an alliance between the North and the South?
Well, maybe. But being realistic, he's still a very minor character. At this late stage in the show, minor characters don't tend to fare too well.
An alliance with Sansa is a nice idea.
But I can't help thinking it's more likely Dickon won't last long enough for it to happen.
