Bless you "Wooparse."
That's the Reddit handle of an Australian man who's taken advantage of a postal stuff-up to showcase the Google Pixel phone a week before its actual release date.
At least one customer Down Under has already received their Google Pixel,Watch Dark Fantasies (2010) thanks to the country's exclusive carrier, Telstra, shipping out purchases ahead of the official release on Oct. 20. That one customer is Wooparse and what a lovely customer he is.
SEE ALSO: Google Pixel phones come with unlimited Google Photos storageWooparse has gone on a veritable blogging spree, answering everybody's questions, taking photos, unboxing, making videos and listing the details of his premature new phone baby.
He told fellow Redditors that the internal storage on his 32GB model is 29.7GB of available space at purchase, and said no "extra" Google apps were on the phone, although he was invited to install a list of the company's apps like Allo and Duo, when he powered up the device for the first time.
And what better way to test the phone's camera quality than by taking photos of your dog? It's a pretty nice image too, especially as Wooparse says the dog was moving his head at the time.
In between mowing the lawn and "life and work," our mate Wooparse has been answering an avalanche of questions, but has said "I'm unlikely to get to them all."
The details he's listed so far are pretty illuminating though, especially with their personal commentary e.g. "Ringtones: All new. Lost my favourite message and call tone." Poor Wooparse.
Another Reddit user claiming to be a "Telstra rep" popped into the post thread as well, saying: "Knew this would happen. Somehow, in some way, whoever looks after pre-orders always manages to ship out devices a week early."
Don't think this customer is complaining, somehow.
Thank you, Wooparse! You deserve all the Reddit Gold.
