What better place for massive Apple fans to celebrate their marriage than at the chapel of Apple?Tayuan
That's exactly what came to mind when Jermyn Wee, 34, and Chia Suat Huang, 31, decided where to commemorate their June 3 nuptials -- so they went early to Singapore's only Apple Store for a series of cute photos.
Wee, a self-proclaimed Apple devotee, was initially uncertain about the idea of a photoshoot because he's pretty camera-shy, his wife told Mashable.
She had proposed a couple of unconventional locations such as a wet market -- but the Apple Store idea sealed the deal, she said.
The couple arrived 30 minutes before the store opened, and waited while their bridesmaids and groomsmen successfully convinced the store manager to let them take their wedding photos inside. "They decided to let us in 10 minutes before opening," Chia said.
When the store opened, Wee and Chia staged a walk down the 'aisle' of display tables with Apple products on them:
Patrons even cheered for them:
"[People] were mainly curious and we heard a few congratulations along the way," Chia said. "They started clapping when we walked down the 'aisle'."
Staff were "perfectly fine" with the shoot, said Yip Weili, the couple's wedding photographer. "They [were] very welcoming and encouraging," he said.
Yip particularly loved the idea of having the couple walk down the 'aisle', saying: "[It made] the whole environment very spontaneous."
