Bose's new premium,Watch Erotica Manila Episode 2 noise-cancelling headphones, QC35 II, come with Google Assistant support, the company announced Thursday.
The news is not exactly new, as these new cans leaked all over the internet a few days ago, but it's still notable. Bose's QC35, which precede this model, were widely praised as one of the best wireless, noise-cancelling headphones around. And Google Assistant on a pair of headphones like these is definitely an interesting feature.
SEE ALSO: The audio jack is officially dead forever — time to invest in some wireless headphonesHardware-wise, the QC35 II appear to be just a mild update of their predecessor, the biggest difference being the new Action button on the right earcup, which launches Google Assistant. From there, you'll be able to control your music through Assistant, such as playing a playlist with songs by your favorite artists.
But you'll also be able to do other things with Assistant: Make a call, get notifications about events, add an appointment to Google Calendar, check sports scores, get flight information, and more.
Bose says its microphone system, combined with noise cancellation, will make working with Assistant a pleasant experience even in noisy environments.
All of this will work on both Android and iPhone, but only in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Germany, France, and the U.K.
Another minor update on the QC35 II is the ability to set noise cancellation level to high, low, or turn it off completely. You can also change the Action button's functionality to do this instead of launching the Assistant (and this is what it'll do by default in markets other than the ones listed above).
The Bose QC 35 II are available right now, in black and silver, for $349.95.
