Controversial actress and Hindi Dubbed Archivesrabble-rouser Stacey Dash is apparently done at Fox News — and has been for a while — causing a wave of joy across social media.
SEE ALSO: Even Fox News is defending CNN against TrumpThe Cluelessstar, who's been a commentator at Fox News since 2014, has been off the air since September, when, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the news network chose not to renew her contract. It just took everyone a while to notice she was even gone, which probably says something about her impact as a pundit.
Dash has been accused of doing some ugly things on the road to riches and diamond rings, including her comments that Black History Month and the network BET should be eliminated altogether during a discussion about the lack of diversity among Academy Award nominees.
Dash followed this up a few weeks later with, what else, a totally awkward appearance at the Oscars during which Dash quipped, "Happy Black History Month!" to a none-too-amused audience.
Ever since, Dash has been a lightning rod on Twitter, where users took joy in the fact that Dash will no longer have a prominent platform on cable news.

Dash herself had plenty to say on Twitter over the weekend, including Monday morning when she criticized Saturday Night Livefor its tribute to Obama, but nothing about the Fox News contract.
Mashablehas reached out to Dash's reps for comment.
