According to the Pew Research Center, 15 percent of American adults use online dating sites and apps, and 59 percent believe it's a good way to meet people. But that doesn't mean online dating is the end-all-be-all of finding a partner.

Maybe it's the lack of human contact but your phone is not your S.O. It's time to put it down.

If you're not going to meet up, there's no point.
5. You're stressing about replies, and taking it personally when they don't.
It's hard to get rejected, but you shouldn't sweat it. Most of the time, it's not about you. It just wasn't meant to be. Just move on to the next person.

If it's a coworker, that person from your night class or even that person your friend swears they're not into anymore -- stay away.
