Many a meme format has proven useful for sharing one's (bad) opinions. But this one has a little something extra: stairs!
The Inexperienced Experience Of The Summer (2015)"kick down the stairs" meme is Twitter's latest foray into ASCII-based content. (Another example is the sparkle meme, which reached its peak several weeks ago.)

That works particularly well for unpopular or offbeat opinions. For example, if you believe leafless salads are better than salads with leaves, a "leafless salad" avatar kicking a "leaves" avatar down the stairs really packs a punch.

Like many memes of this nature, the stairs meme isn't technically new. Per Know Your Meme, early iterations showed up as early as 2014 -- though the format didn't gain nearly as much momentum as it has now. In 2018, everyonewants to kick something down a few flights, whether that's ranch dressing or the entire Beatles oeuvre.
One note: if you want to make a stairs meme of your own, get on it while you still can. The brands have already involved themselves.
